The third of the Harry Potter movies, Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Askiban, was the inspiration for the Summer of 2004 Kids Projects. A UniMat mini-lathe, a set of Sorby Micro Lathe tools, scraps of precious wood, some teak oil and some shellac, a drill press, block plane and sandpaper - everything needed to make some very special Magic Wands. As you can see, they have magic powers in the hands of their owners.
