Does anybody think gas prices are going to stabilize anytime soon? I dont see any reason why they should.
Oil companies are free to raise and lower prices anytime they want. Any type of world event allows them to raise prices and have an excuse. This event may or may not cause any cost difference in producing oil, yet the oil companies still use it to raise prices. With this kind of system why not?
My conclusion is that the oil companies will continue to price gouge us all the way up to $5 a gallon. Lets see if they again have record profits for the year 2012. While the rest of us are struggling on hard economic times they seem to be living large.
