I created this table by clicking the table icon in the Insert menu and filling in 5 rows, 6 columns, width 400 pixels, height 130 pixels, cellpad 4, cellspace 0, border 2, brder color #FFFFFF. I selected cells I wanted to merge by holding shift and clicking the cells and then clicking the merge cells icon. Then I went to Commands/Format Table and choose the AltRows Sunset Format and choose the appropriate colors and checked the "Apply all attributes to TD tags instead of TR tags." I then typed the numbers in the boxes.

Generally it seems helpful to allow autostretch in columns with lots of text. The table can be set to 100% or a large percentage of the screen so as much information is visible as possible on the specific monitor being used. One danger is that text is easier to read in narrower columns rather than columns that are very wide, so it might make more sense to just allow a background color around a graphic to be what increases with wider monitors. There doesn't seem to be any other advantage to letting an image be in an autostretch column as there seems to be no way to allow the size of the image to fluctuate. Maybe the most valuable use would be for a flash element which would benefit from a wider column width.
